Shropshire is a lovely place to live and work. It is surrounded by fields and wildlife and really is the best part of country living. Many teachers that have previously studied in cities such as London, Birmingham and Leeds etc, move in to Shropshire and become a teacher there so they can experience what it is like teaching in a more rural school.
Although the schools may be a little bit more spread out than in the city there are still a large number of primary and secondary schools within the Shropshire area meaning there are often teaching jobs available all year round.
Although the school surroundings will often be very different to that of a city school, the subjects, pupil behaviour and exams are all pretty much the same across the board, making a move to a new school quite easy, which should mean you settle in to the new role with ease.
