Once you have finished school, college or university you may need to look for a job. If you have a career in mind, you may have followed the steps required to obtain the qualifications that you need and therefore will probably have a good idea as to the types of jobs you wish to apply for.
If you have left school and do not really know what industry or job role you want to work it then it may be that you look at a wide range of jobs to see which ones appeal to you. Applying for a job with little or no qualifications or experience can be hard, so you may need to start off in a job and work your way up in to the position you want to be in. Many companies are now going through stages of growth again, following the recovery of the recession. This means that often they are offering apprenticeship positions to allow you to train and even gain qualifications on the job.
